Christina Demaria

Cristina Demaria is associate professor of Semiotics in the department of Philosophy and Communication Studies of the University of Bologna, where she teaches semiotics of conflict and semiotics of media. She has worked and published extensively on gender, trauma, cultural and public memories and their audiovisual representation. Her most recent book is Teorie di genere. Femminismi e semiotica (Milan, Bompiani, 2019).
