Elisa D’Amico

Alessio Mazzaro, Elisa D’Amico and Francesco Dalmasso created a collective (2015) out of their desire to work together, despite living in different places in Europe. They have decided — for now — to not invest time in the research for a name, but just to have a logo that represents visually the coexistence of their approaches. Live streaming cinema, distance performance and a parallel between choreographic writing and composition practices in other languages are the topics of their research together. The collective paused in 2018, after a last residency focusing on dramaturgy at RicercaX, Turin (IT). Since then, each of the members has continued to investigate the score as a creative tool in their own artistic practice.

Couchscore

Couchscore works with and through distance to make a choreography possible even when the performers – and the audience – are not in the same physical place.
