Itai Doron

Itai Doron is a director, choreography student, and sometimes-performer from Haifa, Israel. For his first show as a director, Coriolanus, he won the Best Director award at the Acco Fringe Festival 2015. The show toured several cities in Europe. Since then he has directed Henrik Ibsen’s An Enemy of the People at Nissan Nativ Acting Studio in Tel Aviv and Harold Pinter’s Betrayal at Hayadit Theater Lab at Pardes-Hanna. Together with Omro Rosenblum, he co-directed The Child Dreams by Hanoch Levin at the NTB (National Theater of Bitola, North Macedonia), which then toured to Beijing, Shanghai and Jaffa. He has also served as assistant director to Simon Stone and Ivo Van-Hove at Toneelgroep Amsterdam. Itai is currently the artistic director of the Haifa.it group, a young theatre platform by the Haifa Municipal Theater.
