Nitsan Margaliot

Nitsan Margaliot is a dance artist, entangled with gestures, words, movements, language, nonsense, proximity, containers, knowledge, and pedagogy. He is based in Berlin and danced in Batsheva Ensemble Dance Company and Vertigo Dance Company in the past; most recently he has been working with Anne Collod and the Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop. His choreographic works were presented in festivals and venues in Germany, Sweden, Israel, and the U.S. He is a co-founder of Mo.Ré, a collective for movement research in Berlin. He is a Master Lecturer at the The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where he is currently doing his MFA in Dance, with the support of the University of the Arts President’s Fund for Excellence, BGU/Philadelphia Academic Bridge Fund, Szloma-Albam-Stiftung, and the Norbert Janssen Stiftung. In January 2019 he self-published his first poetry book in Hebrew titled The words are faded in my head.
