Alexa Taylor
Alexa Taylor is an academic, dramaturg, and sometimes-performance-maker from Perth, Western Australia. Her research interests lie in the intersection of performance with social and political transformation, and she is currently exploring this in relation to climate change. Her creative home is The Blue Room Theatre in Northbridge, where she has been involved in a number of independent productions since her 2008 solo show in the shadow of the wild. Her academic home is Murdoch University, where she recently completed her PhD, and teaches in Theatre and Drama Studies, English and Creative Arts, and Sustainable Development.
