David Rodríguez-Solás
David Rodríguez-Solás es profesor titular de Español en la Universidad de Massachusetts Amherst. Sus intereses de investigación son el teatro español moderno y contemporáneo, la memoria cultural y los estudios visuales y performativos. Es autor de Teatros nacionales republicanos: la Segunda República y el teatro clásico español (2014). Actualmente trabaja en dos proyectos de libro, el primero sobre teatro político y performance durante la transición a la democracia, y un segundo sobre teatro de lo real y teatro documental.
David Rodríguez-Solás is an Associate Professor of Spanish at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His research interests are modern and contemporary Spanish theatre, cultural memory, and visual and performance studies. He is author of Teatros nacionales republicanos: la Segunda República y el teatro clásico español (National Republican Theatres: the Second Republic and Classical Spanish Theatre, 2014). Currently he is working on two book projects, the first one on political theatre and performance during the transition to democracy, and a second one on theatre of the real and documentary theatre.
